An employee secondment agreement is a document allowing an employee to work for another company. The agreement may concern one individual or several employees. The employee may be working for two companies at the same time, and thus a document will have to certify the terms and conditions of the arrangement.

The agreement may have a beginning and end date and may also define the permitted ''use'' of the employee for the second company. The agreement may have the employee rights and responsibilities, as well as other employment information such as compensation, benefits, and a confidentiality clause, to protect the property of both companies.

The contract may also outline what company is responsible for the expenses and costs associated with the employee. A non-disclosure may be included for the employee to sign. Worker's compensation, federal laws and regulations, warranty disclaimers and indemnity clauses might appear in the employee secondment agreement as well.
